I really enjoyed watching him and Mike Worsley. Hes another

I always had fond memories of George Harder as a kid watching
Quins. I must have been 8-ish at the time not sure if he was any
good just remember him crashing the ball up all the time in
heavy traffic.

I liked him too, played 13 or 14 if I remember rightly?! He's
also the only player I've ever seen score a spiral drop goal for
Quins... Or any team I suppose!

My favourite ever Quins player, for no other reason than he
always gave it 100% (and frequently more than that). Harder,
Keogh, Fuga and Deane are the 4 players from that 2004 Parker
Pen Shield winning era that I would struggle to leave out of an
all-time Quins squad despite there obviously being better
players since in their respective positions. Ah the memories!

I remember watching him in an A team game against Wasps at Imber
Court. The very young Wasps full-back went on a long run and
decided to try to run round George rather than kick it. We all
knew what would happen next. The full-back didn't. We were
right. Ouch.
I think he woke up about ten minutes later.

Great thread that is bringing back some fantastic memories of
past players.
For me one thing is certain and that is that as much as I love
Marchant and think he is a fantastic player I would still pick
peak G Lowe every time. At his best, especially between
2010-2012, G Lowe was absolutely outstanding and in my opinion
had he not then had such incredibly bad luck with injury would
have been Englands 13 heading into the 2015 World Cup and that
would have made for a very different story indeed.
Also special mentions to Tom Williams who also has to be one of
the finest readers of the game that I have ever had the pleasure
to watch live. Probably one of most underrated premiership
players in history (outside of Quins fans).

Totally agree. Not only do I remember his incredible
performances for Quins but over the years he's been picked in
the press as one of the Lions greatest 7s. One of the few
players I feel could have heave held his own in the professional
ear as well as amateur. I still have a framed signed photo of
him in the classic Quins quarters lifting up the '91 Pilkington
Cup on the old green west stand of Twickenham. Legend!

saw Quins play, and think who I'd replace:
