I like that, but I have to take issue with your double selection
of David Strettle. I'd have accepted Robshaw or even Kenningham,
but there's only one David Strettle.
Right now, Sinck gets the nod over Ross. I might take peak
Clifford over Dombrandt. And since I need to put someone on the
bench in place of Strettle, I would probably just about take the
Joe Marchant of the last half dozen games over Tom Williams.
Williams was consistently good, but Nacho Ramjet finally seems
to have unlocked his best form.
In another year or so, there are several names on Saturday's
team sheet who could force themselves into contention.

Oh yeah!! Marchant goes in at 23 then. He’d be pushing GLowe
incredibly close at 13 too.

Indeed. But it's a shame we never got to see what Lowe could
have done playing off Marcus and Andre

Having been a season ticket holder since 1990 (although they
didn’t do actual season tickets)
15. Brown
14. Harriman
13. Halliday
12. Greenwood
11. Monye
10. Evans
9. Care
8. Easter
7. Winterbottom
6. D Wilson
5. Horwill
4. Ackford
3. Sinkler
2. Wood
1. Marler
16. Baldwin
17. Leonard
18. Louw
19. Robson
20. Fasavalu
21. Gomarsal
22. Smith
23. Staples
Would have loved to have put in; Lacroix, Robshaw,
Esterhuizen, JTH, Clifford, Sheasby, Luger but only so much room
Carling not close for me as his priority was always England and
he spent a lot of time playing for Quins trying not to get
injured. Don’t get why people put Zinzan in their best ever
Quins teams. Was clearly a world class / legend for NZ but he
was very much past it when he came to Quins and didn’t put any
stand out performances in. Similarly Adam Jones did a great job
for Quins as a player but his influence was much more as a
mentor gor Sink & Collier who both were ahead of him playing
wise by that point and were selected for the big games ahead of
him

This is an impossible task. Trying to pick players from the last
three decades who you can remember is one thing but the club is
150 years old. This has to be done by a team of judges who must
pick a couple of hundred candidates from the last century and a
half. Then supporters should vote from that list in each
position. Could even choose two for each position, first and
second choices.
Oh hang on, nobody’s is going to know how good any players
were more than about seventy years ago. How many people know how
good Adrian Stoop was, he never gets in any of these “ greatest”
lists. As I said it’s impossible.

Having been a fan since I could walk thanks to my wonderful
grandad, and a season ticket holder since 2007-17 (wish I could
still be but work life gets in the way of carrying in with
season tickets), this is my all time Quins, also considering 1
or 2 club legends I wasn’t yet around to see and value watching
play. Some of my star players are Mike Brown and the unbeatable
centre pairing of JTH & GL being some of my all time favourites.
Here we go:
1. Joe Marler
2. Keith Wood
3. Adam Jones
4. James Horwil
5. George Robson
6. Andre Voś
7. Chris Robshaw
8. Nick Easter
9. Danny Care
10. Nick Evans
11. Ugo Monye
12. Jordan Turner-Hall
13. George Lowe
14. Dan Luger
15. Mike Brown
16. Jason Leonard
17. Tani Fuga
18. Olly Kohn
19. Maurie Fa’asavalu
20. Zinzan Brooke
21. Nick Duncombe
22. Marcus Smith
23. Joe Marchant

Like the look of that.
Surprised no-one's picked Greenwood but I suppose he always
looked better for England. He was class though.

For the first time since becoming a season ticket holder (13
years) I am willing to entertain the possibility that we might
currently have a better centre pairing that JTH/Lowe.
