But these are dates in the future?? People complaining about
fans for football and cricket, those are a few weeks away (I
think). If they were this weekend fair enough. I would guess if
the Prem final.was in a few weeks more would be able to attend,
or have i got this wrong?

Completely takes the Michael doesn’t it.
Even Twickenham at 25% capacity (82,000 when full) equates to
20,500 which is double and a bit over the current capacity
allowance of 10,000. This equates to just over 12% allowed.
Compare this for recent Euros games at
Wembley where they’ve been allowed to fill 22,500 seats (90,000
capacity when fulI) which equates to 25%.
Euro games within this last week allowed 25% but Premiership
Rugby Final this coming weekend allowed just over 12%... I
totally get the restrictions, but not the unbalance of fairness
in that difference and lack of logic

A thought... I don't know if this will work but it is worth
investigating if you don't have any other way to see the match.
For the Ealing - Sarries first leg, I signed up to a month of
Premier Sports at £12.99 and then cancelled it the next day
under the cooling off period in their t&c. They reviewed the
account and refunded me £10, which I thought was very fair.
It might be worth checking the BT Sport t&cs to see if they have
a similar cooling off period. There's no guarantee how they will
handle it, but it might be a way to spend less than the full £25

Cheers Poorfour, that’s a shout. I rang up BT this morning to
see if they offered a day pass but they only offer a month pass.
However you’re example of cancelling it after a day and getting
a partial refund is a good one. I’ll have to have a dig in their
T’s&C’s! Good shout mate, thanks for the tip

I absolutely don't get the restrictions any more. LB Richmond
       has...
       1. 72.9% of adults with a first vaccination and 47.1% with both
       2. 10% of the cases they had at Christmas
       3. A current infection rate amongst people 60+ and most at risk
of 14.5 per 100k compared to a peak rate of well over 500 in
       early January.
But even if there was any justification for ongoing
restrictions, how come Bristol were allowed to sell 25% of
Ashton Gate last weekend, when Bristol currently has twice the
case rate per 100,000 of Richmond?
Everything about the government's current approach to Covid is
even more of a complete and utter farce than it has been
       previously!

There were 18,000 per day at the 2nd England v New Zealand Test
       at Edgbaston the other week.

Very good point you raise here mate. I mean I get restrictions
etc but I just don’t get why Twickers can’t have 25% like every
other sports even atleast is allowed to have.
Bonkers. If you’re going, have a great time mate. I’m hoping the
rain holds off so we can play our best running rugby on the day.

Lads, I think I've got it...
Bristol were allowed to sell 25% of Ashton Gate because someone
knew in advance that a) they'd only sell about 40% of that (our
       allocation was 500 vs a supposed 1300) b) quite a few Bristol
fans wouldn't turn up anyway and c) the ones who did would take
their COVID precautions seriously and sit in quiet contemplation
of the game rather than making any real noise.
Then the Quins fans turned up and were so loud that they've
realised we have ultra powerful lungs. If we can make sound
travel so far, then perhaps we can project harmful droplets of
COVID even through masks and across the mighty ramparts of
Twickenham, into the very microphones of the broadcasters where
the virus will be encoded into electronic form, transmitted to
the televisions of innocent viewers and beamed out into your
       living rooms!
This must not be allowed to happen. The Quins fans MUST be
       stopped.
