good luck with that investigation, you have to be a season
ticket to get the link, you may be buying for non season ticket
holders in your group so emails wont all be registered anyway.
The only thing they could do in time would be invalidate all of
them and send a new link with stiffer terms. I would suggest
timing to do anything here is going to be extremely tight and
probably not viable.

I can't see how it is in breach of GDPR if data is being shared
to investigate an abuse of the system. That is fair use and
likely agreed to in the terms. The GDPR element would relate to
how the information is stored and processed.

I notice that the page for Exeter tickets now checks to see if
your RFU account has the necessary permissions to purchase
tickets - which I find interesting as I have never linked my RFU
account to my Quins account, so exactly HOW? Unless they have
received the email addresses of STH from Exeter.
Regarding GDPR, personal data has to be protected, but there are
legal channels around it. I would also expect that there is
something in the terms and conditions of being a STH that says
they can use your data to work with third parties to assist in
investigations for things like this.
Also, they have stuck some text in the IMPORTANT INFORMATION,
basically forewarning that tickets could be cancelled.
"THIS ALLOCATION IS STRICTLY FOR EXETER CHIEFS SUPPORTERS WHO
HAVE BEEN SENT A LINK BY THE CLUB AND ANYONE BOOKING FROM
OUTSIDE THE FOLLOWING POSTCODES IS AT RISK OF HAVING THEIR
BOOKING CANCELLED AND REFUNDED: TR, PL, EX, TQ, TA, BS, BA, DT"

Brutal for London based Exeter fans
That's potentially really brutal - during the time that I've
supported Quins my postcode has been WC, SW and now HP, and
never TW. If something similar th

Regarding GDPR, even Quins T&Cs says
"To enable us to fulfil the activities listed above, we will
share your personal information with our trusted third-party

The 2 ticket rule shouldn't apply to Quins Fans. The quins page
for the finals ticket info stated:
"Supporters will be able to buy a maximum of 6 tickets per
transaction with one transaction per person limit."

Those postcode areas cover all of Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and
the Western parts of Wiltshire and Dorset. You'd have to be
pretty bloody dedicated to watching Exeter to have a season
ticket and live further away than that, surely?

One of my family has a Quins season ticket and an EX postcode -
depending on work patterns/personal choices etc it's not
necessarily that big of a deal.

So will this affect purchases that have already happened or any
purchases using the link now?
