There was a time the Premiership rugby people was trying to get
all away shirts to be "predominantly white".

We had 3 away kits which were largely white but then also
featured recognisably Quins elements - the one with 2 coloured
quarters and 2 white, one with a diamond pattern in a diagonal
line across the chest, and one with diamond pattern across the
shoulders. Since then they've largely been any old colour and
design. I suppose the barcode one contained the colours, but was
pretty awful.
The adidas one with splodges on could have been any team, same
for the green and black job last year, and same for the current
one. I do actually like the current one, but it has no link to

I wish we'd stuck with the diamond motif. I really liked those
shirts and they were distinctively Quinnish.

It does have a Quinn’s link as it’s a map of the London
boroughs, and it appears that the players like it

The DHL logo doesn't clash violently with our current away kit.
Edit:
For Only Joe Quin perhaps I should have said 'so violently'. It
looks dreadful on the home kit.

Loved the 2010/11 Diamond shirt we had by Kooga/O’Neill’s, and
the one after that for 12/13 by O’Neills too. Some of the best
away shirts.

I haven’t bought an away shirt since the diamonds, hanging on
until they’re brought back. And haven’t bought any shirt with
the DHL logo on, it’s horrible with the Quins colours.
I think I’m probably not the Club’s best customer for shirts.

Three main things I want to see make a comeback kit wise:
1. Green/Black sleeves, on the shirts ideally if not then a
special add on base layer. Proper Green/Black sleeves, not the
trim of the sleeve, the actual full Monte!
“Don’t go cheap on me Dodgson!”
2. Hooped socks, why did these go? Used to love seeing them and
had a good few pairs too! Loved them!
3. Traditional Quins coloured Jester diamonds on white/black
away kit.
BOSH!!
Adidas Rugby department or Quins shirt decision makers, I hope
you’re reading this.

The rule actually states that clubs can ask to wear their home
kit for the final.
From 2020/21 Premiership regs:
"PRL shall determine which choice of colours a Club wears in any
Match, but may, in its absolute discretion, allow a Home Club
and the Clubs in the Premiership Final to wear their first
choice colours. "
I bet we didn't ask for the reason already mentioned: the
current home kit is sold out. Such a shame that, should we win,
all the photos will be sans quarters.
I also agree the away kit should be a variation on the quarters.
As I noted when the current away kit was launched, I think it's
a cost thing for Adidas.... The quarters have more
colours/complexity than other kits whereas the away kits always
seem to be from a fairly generic Adidas design and 2-colour.

I don't mind one jot if we have an away shirt or not but, if are
going to have one then what's the point of having one that looks
like the home shirt.
I like the fact that they play around with it!
Each to their own.
