...and...if it works in the same way as the European cup final,
the purchaser of the tickets can then transfer tickets to the
rest of their travelling group via the app. So, all those going
to the match need the app, even if they haven't directly bought
their ticket themselves.

Am I right in saying if you have 2 ST’s ( I have my own plus
guest) the tickets can only be used by people in the same
bubble, usually the same household?

From what I remember using the same ticketing approach for the
European Cup Final...
You don't need the app to buy tickets.
You buy tickets from this magic link that we're all going to get
at 10:00 (I hope outlook, gmail, yahoo etc... can cope)
The app is just to distribute tickets to others in your group
and to get in the ground.
Everything takes an age. Imagine a steam driven 1960s IBM
mainframe running COBOL. Once you have the tickets don't expect
to see them in the app for a while. Once you distribute them the
recipients may not see them for some hours.
Best that all your group get the app ASAP, if someone on the
group registers on the app it can take hours before the person
with the tickets sees them there.

No chance this is going to go well. There is a queue of 326
people in the RFU ticketing website at the moment waiting to get
in...

Why is there a queue already to get on to the site if you can
only buy them via a link shared by the final clubs?

I am wondering that as well. Can you buy for another person at
different address? is there the ability to buy 2 seats not
together?
