well that was rubbish.
its impossible !
I select a seat and then get "To continue with your purchase,
please select all seats within a group. A group is made up of
all seats immediately next to each other. Seats must only be
purchased together for household groups, including those in your
support bubble."
then when I select the adjacent seat I get
"Unfortunately we were unable to add the selected seat(s) to the
basket. If this issue continues, refreshing the page may resolve
it."
I have done this 6 times in various blocks!
Even when I selected a single seat (of which there were few) it
came up with the second message!

I had the same experience. I’m guessing that somebody else was
trying to buy it.

Very frustrating. At one point I had two but they wouldn't go
into my 'box' so I could buy them. I was using my iPhone. Very
disappointed.

So frustrated to be beaten by the ticketmaster system, could
have accepted tickets being sold out before I logged on, but to
spend 1/2 hour desperatley clicking on seats not to get one was
really annoying.

I never even got as far as a seating plan, despite being in
queue early on. Very annoyed.
Even my son in Falkland Islands got further than me, but had
same problems as others. I am extremely miffed at this rubbish
system.
At least I did get to Ashton Gate last Saturday.
