Taps has really stepped up in the last few weeks - would be
harsh on him not to make the team but I don’t think you can
leave a fit Andre out. Given that he can cover 10 would be an
interesting bench option if we’re worried about Andres match
fitness. (I also think he’s thoroughly earned a spot in the 23).
As an aside does anyone know where he’s off to next season?

Andre has to play, I think you bring him in for the injured
Morris in the squad then no one will miss out in the squad in
the final from the semi other then the injured Aaron. Andre 12
Taps on the bench
The big questions is James Chisholm, does he start or come on at
45 minuets like yesterday and cause havoc?
Marchant at 13 or on the wing?

Well I just hope we can find 23 fit and not too knackered to go
again. Rob Baxter has already said they are not going to give us
the ball. I think Andre was on the sidelines yesterday almost in
tears.

Andre for Taps and Chisholm for Lawday are for me the only
changes.
Northmore added a lot when he came on, and that’s how I would
keep it as id rather have a bench option who could “change the
game” so to speak than just a player coming on for the sake of
it.

As long as we have a ref who lets us compete at the breakdown,
we'll just go and get it.
And since they have to kick it back to us every time we score,
we only need one score to get started.

Andre has to come back in. He’s a real gamebreaker for us and
will give some real headaches to the chiefs defence. Taps brings
a lot (and I thought Lang was immense when he came on), but
Andre does what not many players can.
I’m torn with Chisholm. Will he have the same impact starting?
Or do we unleash him after 50mins again?

I think they should follow brizz and keep testing lynagh and
Marchant with bombs.

That was a bit bizarre tactically. Every kickoff went to
Marchant, I think, who was totally secure. In fact I don’t
remember our back three dropping a high ball all day.

Yep. This is my thinking too. Exeter will fear Andre and I think
he’ll be massively up for it.
I also wonder whether Tapuai might get cited for the fend that
led to Charles Piutau going off. I don’t think it was
intentional and I assume it was looked at, but in real time, it
looked bad and I was worried about the try that followed shortly
after being chalked-off.
Either way, in this form I would be disappointed to see Tapuai
start and given Lasike’s injury, I’d be offering him a new deal.

Of topic in regard to selection but will Quins be in their
alternative kit with Exeter finishing higher up the table? I for
one hope they will as they always seems to put on a show in that
kit.
