Wow, this should be amazing, like the All Blacks v the Baa Baas.
We need 70 mins from Marler, Lewies and Symons.
60 from Balders and Wilco.
Agree that they may target Lynagh but all he has to do is hit
the hip and slide down on their power runners. The same for
Green they have to make those first time tackles and not let
them over the gain line.
Care and Smith just need to focus on themselves and keep us
going forwards.
Subs need to hit it from minute 1 and just try to keep the
intensity high.
Should be a belter, win or lose.

I wouldn't base your feeling on our scrum based on the 2nd half
of the tigers game (when a loosehead was playing tighthead). In
the first half it was one pen a piece with no lost scrums, other
than the pens.
Up until that 2nd half, we had the 2nd most successful scrum in
the league in terms of retention and 4th most penalties awarded
- including at least 2 penalty tries from push overs (struggling
to find the stats to see if it is more). Thacker is not "weaker
at scrum time". That is myth perpetrated by Tigers. There has
been very little perceivable difference over the last 3 season
with Thacker starting vs AN Other.
I wouldn't rely too much on getting scrum dominance over us. Oh,
and it's going to be dry tomorrow!

Well JAA15A, we'll see tomorrow won't we. Our scrum has been
incredibly dominant when starting with our first choice front 5
so you should expect us to target this as an area where we can
gain an advantage, just like you would with your backs.
Of course, there are assumptions all over the shop but that's
what makes fans tick.
Will enjoy it either way.

Chis and Murley in over Lawday and Morris for me, but that's a
nice team to be able to put out.

Weird that you'd think we'd base our views on a Leicester game
rather than our own performance, but there you go...

Good side, looking forward to watching this tomorrow.
Just a shame that Brown and André miss out..

Yeah, I think it is likely the scrums will kind of end up a moot
point with neither team getting overall dominance. Lineout could
be interesting, we have been a bit shaky there recently.
And @raearius, don't think you can ever for opinion without
considering all factors. Weird you would think based only on
your own performance you could gain dominance.
To be honest, I think this will come down to who can keep the
door closed enough. Both sides can score loads, but I think this
game will come down to who defends better.

Murley over Lynagh for me. He offers more in defence. I can see
Lynagh being targeted by their big runners down his channel

Two good sides hopefully we’ll see a game to match the
expectations. I personally think we need go at their pack and
frustrate them.
Looking forward to it.
