Thanks. That makes sense.

Just following up on this, when looking at hotels for the Big
Game, I noticed that the Marriott at the stadium has Monday 27th
as being an event rate. Maybe there is something else that I
don't know about, but I'm guessing that this is because of Big
Game.
But I could be wrong of course.

Does anyone know what the dates (or, weekends) will be for the
European games? I appreciate that we won't know the actual
match-ups for a while yet, but knowing the weekends would be
helpful, if available.

As long as it’s not the Olympic Games stadium. I managed to go
there during the Olympic Games and it was fabulous, but going
back for a Sarries game made it apparent that it just isn’t
suitable for football or rugby. The playing area is soooo far
away from the spectators in every direction, and if you’re in an
end location rather than on a side, you need a telescope to see
what’s going on at the far end. Also, the seating gradient is
not steep enough, and if you’re towards the rear of the seating
plan, you need your telescope to see the pitch closest to you.
I was however, looking forward to seeing the new White Hart Lane
stadium, but as we know, it got cancelled.
