I never really used it anyway, but I do like their bacon. And
their scott eggs are pretty good.
I’m still sad the pies are gone!

But not everyone comes from Surrey. It takes me 2+ hours to get
to the Stoop. I don't want a soggy cold bacon sarnie. I want hot
food. Just because *you* like a lukewarm bacon butty that you
made at home it doesn't mean *everyone* is happy to settle for
that.

Anyone who tried the original hog roast (in the car park) and
the new hog roast (in the ground) will know there was a vast
difference in quality. I used to get it every game in the car
park but found the product in the ground to be very poor
quality.
I am glad they have other grounds and opportunities (and I too
buy their products from the supermarket, which are excellent),
but I do not think this is a loss to the match day experience as
the "up-scaled" product really was vastly different to the
product that was originally outstanding.

I enjoyed them when there were just a tent with a spinning pig
outside the ground but sadly as others have said, when they went
inside the ground and had to upscale, the quality dropped.
Can still pick up their sausages from Sainsburys so will
continue supporting them that way.
Question is though about replacement- What comes next (after
typing that, I now have George III from Hamilton in my head)

Maybe not it might only be a mild form of Salmonella, But then
again the cholesterol will probably get you :)

Re. the pies, the stand may have changed as it's a few years ago
I last had one but the pastry was so thick and hard you could
have knocked someone out with it.

Thats fine seeing all this diatribe about pork and sausages but
what about the cone of crackling??? This makes up a substantial
part of my match day dining experience. Zinzan/JK/Gussie (delete
as applicable) must go!!!!!!
