Pretty much expected, though, wasn't it?

No surprise really but at least the weathers nice for the
Trailfinders faithful. On the bright side they will be spared a
visit from the pariahs of the Premier next season & hopefully
one day we will be seeing Ealing fulfil their ambition to make
       it to the Premier.
Not too late for the foolhardy or masochists to get a wager on
with Ealing at 100/1 and the visitors odds "suspended".

I contrast preparation for the Lions tour of the Bok players at
Sale going through tough battles every week and the Sarries
winning every week by 60 points v amateurs.
The Boks will be ready and the provinces will tear into the
Lions from minute one.Not convinced these Lions will be ready
       above all the Sarries players.

I recall a conversation on this board when ealing beat a
Saracens XV in preseason and a fan or two got a bit ahead of
themselves - very angry at the idea that they'd get smashed by a
full strength Saracens and probably aren't good enough for the
       premiership

Obvious solution. Select more Sale players for the Lions
       👍🏼🤣

I’ve just got back from a great day out with fans mixing
amicably but it wasn’t a pleasure sitting in that heat so
playing on the defensive all game…..
Ealing were valiant but thoroughly beaten – on the four
occasions they made it to penalty advantage in Sarries 22 they
opted not to kick – fair enough in front of their home fans with
       the game gone.
It was a pleasure to watch the likes of V Koch, world cup winner
and Lions oppo giving his brutal best on a pitch I played social
       rugby on.
It's Ealing’s bad luck that they have had to wipe the
Premiership’s bottoms cos of Buffy the Blazer’s blind
incompetence. Had a genuinely bottom team been relegated (sorry
Worcester, Irish, Newcastle….) then Ealing would have been in
       with a shout.
But current teams in the premiership have been beaten by 50-60
       points.
Have Sarries done enough? Only a covid intervention can stop
       Ealing’s promotion now!

Not really a shock looking at team sheets that Sarries team
       would smash most prem sides.

A team built on the back of cheating though.
Business as usual next season unfortunately.
