To be fair there are a number of other possibilities. It's not
just one or the other.
Not that I have any intention of suggesting any and dragging
this thread in the direction of so many others on the same
topic.

am afraid I have no time for this type of jibberish and Quins as
a family friendly club should not in my opinion either.
Sometimes I feel I cannot open my mouth for fear of being
politically incorrect. I am a mother and Grandmother and proud
of it! How on earth can our kids and grandkids cope with this.

Are you saying that supporting LGBT+ the right to exist is not
family friendly?

Well I for one am proud to be associated with a club that is
promoting inclusivity and looking to generate an environment in
which everyone feels welcome. I'm not trying to be 'politically
correct' or 'virtue signalling' or 'woke', but just genuinely
believe that the more friendly and open the club are trying to
be, the better it is for all fans attending the game.
It is just a shame that an exercise that should be seen as a
positive step seems to create division amongst fans.

I wondered how long it would take for someone to mention the W

Not at all I am very supportive of this just I don’t like being
told you cannot talk about mothers and fathers which is what I
understood Stonewall was doing. Apparently according to some I
misunderstood.

You would genuinely have to actively seek more primary sources
to not misunderstand, there's no blame attached. The way it's
been portrayed is fairly twisted.

Having looked it up again apparently I am ‘a parent who gives
birth’

You’re a mother. Any other description is nonsense.

You're welcome to call yourself a mother, you are one! The point
is that they were suggesting in corporate policies to be a
little less gendered with their language. Stonewall does not
believe you are not a mother, that you shouldn't be called a
mother, or that the word mother should be banned. Just that when
writing a policy that is intended to cover all possible
employees, using language that would include (for example) trans
men who had given birth is a good inclusive thing.
Does that make sense? It's not something that would at all
impinge on your rights or alter who you are and how you define
yourself. It's about how corporations write things. That's all.
