I think we have really missed a true poacher as Kenningham,
whilst a fantastic prospect, isn’t quite that yet. Wallace in
his pomp was one of the best so hoping we can reinvigorate him
and he can step up. We’ve been crying out for some more back row
competition so he will at least add to our numbers.
My biggest concern is hopefully this doesn’t signal a longer
term injury for Evans who they said would be back for the start
of next season with Wallace signing until the end of next
       season.

I don’t think this signing signals any further concern for
Evans’ recovery. We lacked depth at 7 when the season started,
it’s been brilliant that Kenningham has so far stepped up but we
needed more bodies in the back row for this season and next.

An important thing is that this is a "with Immediate Effect"
move. So he's available to us for the run in. That's gong to
help ease concerns over Back Row cover...

This is encouraging news. We have a very good track record with
Leicester rejects - Evans, Skinner, Greenwood. Let's hope
       Wallace continues the tradition.

Hey, he was OUR reject before he was Leicester's reject!

Wallace is an awful player. What a terrible decision

I'm pleased to welcome the cover for the run in, as its needed.
I'm less enthused about giving him another season, as I
personally feel he isn't up to it and his last period here he
petered out without much fanfare. I can only imagine that from
this decision management probably wont bring in a big name 7 and
are pinning next season on Evans and Kenningham with Wallace to
sweep up and make the teas. Meh

With Evans and Kenningham, I dont think a big name 7 was ever on
       the cards

Agree totally with Evans and Skinner, the latter was outstanding
in his time as captain. By the time we got Greenwood back, he
was approaching the twilight of his playing career, and to my
mind, had lost a lot of pace compared to when he left us. Even
so, I have good memories of Will Greenwood in his heyday.

Even better. The last one of those was Greenwood, as I recall.
