Season Ticket renewal.

My wife tried to renew her season ticket today using the refund
from the remainder of this seasons ticket. On the website it
showed the correct amount with the refund taken off. However
when she went to pay suddenly the credit card authentication box
showed the full amount. Annoyingly the club are not taking calls
and you can only email. So she was unable to resolve the issue.
This is poor customer services.

I think others had a similar issue, it should only take the £2
admin fee of the card. I am sure the club will resolve as soon
as they can when you email them.

I had exactly the same issue yesterday. I have four debentures,
renewing the first worked OK (had to create a separate account
for each one which is tedious) but on transaction number two,
when I got to the end, it wanted to take the whole amount off
me. No answer from the club yet.

I thought the same initially when I went through the checkout
process, but I think it shows you the total amount paid for the
ticket (comprising any credit + card payment/direct debit). It
looks like you're being debited the total from the payment card,
but if you look closely it should show the split of payment. Of
course, you might have had a different experience from me

I had the same problem. I emailed the club and someone
telephoned me and explained that my card would only be debited
for the admin fee and not the whole amount. I asked them to stay
on the line while I went through the renewal process and it all
worked as they described.

I had a problem, probably my fault, and it did actually take the
whole amount off my card. I tried calling and, like you got
told to email the club, which I found a bit irritating.
However, they called me back a few hours later. I spoke to a
very helpful woman and she sorted it all out there and then - no
messing around. All very quick and simple. Great customer
service from the ticket office.

Yes, they are really very helpful. They will definitely call
back following an email.

Had the same issue with one of mine, emailed the club received a
call and they sorted it there and then which was great - BUT
certainly an issue with the system which needs sorting!

I'm delighted that others experienced similar issues (insofar as
that means it wasn't just me!), and, like me, they got a call
from a very nice lady at the club who was able to sort it all
out over the phone.
I suspect there are, indeed, some issues with the system (she
didn't seem at all surprised, though didn't concede anything!).
Anyway, all's well that ends well. I just hope and pray they
never get rid of the staff team so that we have to deal only
with Ticketmaster. I think that would be the end.
