Whilst this would be my dream final, I’m supposed to be in
Edinburgh for the Lions game 😭
Personally can’t see neither Bristol nor Exeter making the final
but anything is possible.

Is it realistic to suggest sale could lose last 3 games if they
have Ex, Bris and us that would change the confidence levels at
Sale or if sale win against Ex and Bris and we best them we
could yet have a home semi. Or am I dreaming, let's see what
happens at LI tonight

Top 4 isn’t totally assured, but one more win, or even a couple
of points should clinch it. Looking at our recent form and who
we have left to play, I think we can certainly be hopeful of
wins against Bath and Newcastle. Sale will undoubtedly be more
difficult given we tend to struggle against the more physical
sides.
If we do make it, it’s knock out rugby and all bets are off.
Even without Brown, Evans and Andre, we have the ability to be
dangerous. If we can maintain our run of form, no-one will be
taking us for granted and we just need to go for it.

I wouldn't want us to rest too many players in the final games,
even if we have secured top 4. We have a week off now. The
pressure on the remaining games is reduced due to last night's
result so hopefully the players will get a few days off from
training.
Momentum is key - we don't want to fall over the line into
playoffs or qualify due to our challengers falling away - we
should aim to qualify by winning at least 2/3 of our remaining
games and then go into the play offs on a winning run, if
possible.
Next three games are a good chance to get back to the form of a
few weeks ago, before our run of 3 games where we've been second
best most of the time

Apart from form there is the apparent randomness of the
allocation of yellow and red cards at the moment which will
likely have a bearing on the remaining fixtures results.

I'd be tempted to pick our strongest team for the 2 home games
and rest a few key players for Sale away. I think that's the
least winnable game of the 3 and no point in showing our
strongest hand and risk injury to key players against a very
physical Sale side.
