Thought he was immense today, really put his hands up for being
browns long term replacement. Offers us a new dimension in
attack and seems equally strong in defence and under the high
       ball.

Yeah, decent outing. Got caught a few times stuttering and then
trying to run around nadolo and getting caught behind the
gainline, but otherwise looked secure under high ball and great
       going forward

Yes, definitely. He looked to the manor born.
Makes losing Brown less of an issue if he can play like that
week in week out. He was up against Nadalo today a lot and he
       will have learned from that.

Hmmmm. He cost us a lot of ball by getting repeatedly smashed in
contact and turned over, and his harum scarum stuff in our 22
hurt us a couple of times too.
Tigers will think they did a great job on him and really
       exploited him.
Not a comment on his mentality or his effort. But we gave him a
ton of ball and lots of moves died with him being bullied in
       contact.

Green won’t make the yards in contact that Brown did, but he
offers more in terms of pace and footwork. It’s a pretty even
trade off and the commentators were impressed by the yards he
made given the number of times Nadolo closed him down.
He was perhaps slightly less imperious than Brown in
positioning, but there were no glaring defensive errors and his
high ball skills and tackling were fine. If he’s the long term
replacement - or even competing with Nick David and Louis Lynagh
for the shirt, then he’s made a promising debut.

Guy plays well, in his second start in that position since
moving from SA, with a centre on one wing and a wing coming back
from a career threatening injury on the other - but sure let's
bag him for not playing like Mike Brown, because we can.
He had a good game, yes he was physically dominated at times, he
will be, he is a little smaller - i'd imagine Quins will have to
work their defensive plans slightly differently to allow for
that - in the same way they will adjust attack wise to include a
       bonafide strike runner.........

I'm not bagging the guy, I'm giving my honest opinion that he
was a problem for Quins at times and that tigers exposed him
physically. There's no long term judgement or dismissal of him
as a player, nor is it even saying he had an awful game!
I don't expect him to be Mike Brown, but my honest opinion is
that we did need Mike Brown's strengths today and his
replacement wasn't able to offer that. In the same way that I
like Kenningham but recognise that we really, really missed
       Evans' ability at the breakdown.

Mixed bag for me but I reckon he will learn a lot from today.

He had a huge wing to deal with today that would be difficult
for anybody. I think you are being a bit harsh Jammy. I think
you’re looking too hard at the negatives without balancing with
the positives. It’s hard to compare any two players let alone
one as good as Mike. Tyrone is different and I like his attitude
and commitment, his attack and consistency in the air.

I mention the negatives because the opening post is only about
the positives and I felt there were a number of problems being
ignored. I also like his attitude and commitment, and his aerial
ability is excellent for a small guy.
