Surely the reason is because you don't get any choice of seats,
so you could end up in row A of the North Stand, and you're
supposed to consider that a privilege. Plus, it's expensive for
a very inferior match day experience (see comments about drinks
       and sausage rolls).

I think that'll be it for some people. I know a few supporters
of other sports who don't want to go back until it's much the
       same as it was before.

The catering at The Stoop means it's always an inferior match
       day experience.

Funny, isn't it? When they first opened those pitches in the
South West, the operators were all keen as mustard (no pun
intended) and the quality was excellent. Remember the meat pies
they used to serve? Then it changed (are all the pitches run by
the same company?) and frankly it's all pretty rubbish except
the guinness. No idea what provision is being made for next
Saturday. I know I couldn't get my second Covid jab tomorrow at
the Stoop (where the first one was), so perhaps they're going to
do something with the East Stand bar (what's it called this
       week?).

I think for a while at least all the food was run by the Kohn
brothers, but I think that's now changed. There's some good
options behind the South stand normally. I like the Duck wraps.
I know that some of the guys I drink with at the Quins Head/sit
with raved about the fish & chips in the last couple of years.

20 minutes of being able to have a pint or a sausage roll

delivery slots left at all! It was like trying to order an

Well that could be a deal breaker......cue 'why has Dalrymple
taken away my Hog Roast?' rhetoric :-)

I absolutely loved those pies from Barnaby Sykes, me and my Dad
always used to get one before the game. Was gutted to see they
were gone a few seasons ago.

Kohns finished (managing all the stands) 2-3 seasons ago.
The Fish is good and continued to make both John's late to sit
       down!
I wish there was one of those West Country Cornish Pie outlets -
like the ones on mainline stations. The Pie's were good.
I miss the Beluga Stand, adjacent to the Jetski-jacuzi terminal
and now we are playing champagne rugby, what happened to the
       Moet et Chandon Bar?

You certainly live up to your name Bolly! Does your butler
manage your in-seat deliveries as well?

       Ha!
Only when Deadly has a spare wine waiter.
I watched a baseball game in Houston once where they throw
wrapped-up hot dogs to people in the stands that have
       pre-ordered them...
