I've been wondering that too.
Logically, I'd try to match up the higher paying STHs with the
higher price seating.

same as others here my normal half way line on the west stand
transfers me to out on the far wings of the west stand. Happy I
got tickets but nowhere near our normal views, not great but I
will take it to be back at the stoop for two games.

They told me that we've all been allocated tickets that are in
the same price range as our Season tickets. Except I haven't!
The ones I've been allocated should be the same price as the
North/South stand seats, but I've been charged for them as
though they were where my normal seats are, which are the next
pricing tier up.

Row A in block AB for the Newcastle game. Is it wrong that I’m
really disappointed, particularly as I’m normally row F in block
FD?
