Aparently is coming to Harlequins. So says the French Rugby
press.

Definitely a solid back up to Marcus and a big upgrade over
Herron. Only question would be if he’s going to be away on
international duty, if so I think we’ll need to bring in another
player.

Agree about cover - but I think Herron’s departure still
unconfirmed, so maybe he is staying as 3rd choice.

If Herron does go, surely it would just be a case of him being
quietly released at the end of his contract. It's hardly as
though there's likely to be any other clubs queuing up to sign
him and wanting to issue a press release on the matter, is it?

Fair point KP, especially on his current form. He was rumoured
to Biarritz I think. But maybe just to work the pedalo hire.

I think Herron found his level in the championship and probably
will head back there. For back up 10s he’s been my least
favourite. Andy Dunne was made to look like prime Wilkinson in
comparison

I prefer Herron to, say, Botica.

Oooh, that's an interesting one. I'd go for Botica. Capable of
infuriating mistakes, but also a naturally attacking player with
an excellent record off the tee and a decent tactical kicking
game. Just seems the better player - not sure what Herron does
that's better than Botica did.

I agree. I think the memory of Botica is overly influenced by a
few howlers but generally he was ok and had a reasonable career
after leaving us.
