Lasike looked a lot more agile and quick in the game against
Bath. Thought his defensive positioning had improved too. Saying
that, I’m just not sure how much longer Quins can keep Northmore
on the bench. For the next game it wouldn’t surprise me to see:
       11) Green
       12) Taps
       13) Northmore
       14) Marchant

       23) Murley

That's a different discussion, isn't it? To my mind, Northmore
and Marchant are jockeying for the 13 shirt, Lasike and Taps are
backup to Andre at 12. Lang kind of covers 10-13 and 15, and
Taps covers 12 and 13, so they make better bench options than
Lasike - but I can see him leapfrogging them as a starter
because Smith really benefits from having a crash ball player to
disrupt defensive patterns. I can't remember seeing Northmore at
12 but he looks better used at 13.

Dont forget Lennox A. He played really well against Bath, and
       is a pretty big unit

I don’t think Quins would play Lasike and Northmore at 12/13 as
their defensive positioning would leave too much space. It
makes much more sense to bring Taps at 12 for his defence, 13
Northmore and have Marchant on the wing who defended brilliantly
       against Irish.

One for the future, I think - though I wouldn't be averse to
seeing him on the bench before too long.

I do think we’ll be seeing a lot more of Lennox A and in
particular Hyde next season. Hyde has already played a couple of
games for Ulster and he looked pretty good in those appearances.
I can’t see him moving back over just to be involved in the
academy squad or the odd A league game.

I am not sure Quins would extend Tap's contact and I'm not sure
when it presently expires, but its worth keeping Lasike - he's
not likely to be costing much and is a menace on the pitch.
And isn't he quite a handy guitarist/singer? Always a place for
       a Renaissance Man.

       Or a Renaissance woman?
