Brilliant from Smith. My first shot of adrenaline during the
whole game. I'm less bothered now that Quins (and Irish) were
pretty pathetic.

Marcus Smith vs The Entire Irish Backline turned out to be
pretty straightforward as a tactic...!
We managed that reasonably well towards the end. Northmore had
huge impact. Didn't bottle the pressure of that last play, did
everything right. Shame about the rest of the game.
Terrible performance, excellent win.

Ah, Flatman and Grayson weren't writing us off. I was pretty
sure we'd lose after the first 10 minutes, so I'm happy I was
wrong. I bet Goode is seething, which makes this quite sweet.

We don’t win like that very often but today I think we deserved
to nick it at the end. That’s a team that never gave up and it’s
great to see them get the reward. Now we’re without Will and
Andre for a while I think we might struggle but we have
Northmore Lasike and Kenningham who aren’t bad replacements.

Settled down a bit now, as often happens with a one man
advantage, Irish completely over complicated their every move
and paid the price.

How sweet is that. A man down against cheap shot wind up
merchants, play badly for much of the game and walk off with the
points. Seasons are made of such stuff
