Strange way to endear yourself to your new boss and your new
fans, no? Not quite sure why you'd expect anyone to put that
kind of press release out.

I understand that - up to a certain point. Whatever they say
(after the game), taken in context, is always interesting - by
what they leave out or include - it indicates, to a degree,
where excuses are being made or avoided. I wouldn’t expect them
to say “Joe Bloggs was useless today - that’s saved for later.
Making personal statements is tricky legally these days.

Aye, some people are good value and are willing to say what they
think and don't varnish it too much. I think the league's a
little better in general for that these days; BT seem to know
who the characters are and talk to them, and we're no longer
subjected to the grumpy dissembling of guys like Cockerill and
Diamond. Or Gustard's platitudes.

"Why do you think Quins have been so successful in the last
three months?"
