Not sure that's fair, his passing was on point today. 7 passes
is the 4th highest in the team, behind the half backs and
       Dombrandt.

Remember a few years ago when it was fashionable to moan about
Brown's alleged lack of offloading amongst England fans? That
was the same year that he topped the Prem offload list for the
       season for us!

Passing stats mean nothing - picking the right passes at the
right time is what matters, that's the difference between a lot
of our tries and our chances

Brown is great at offloading, he's poor at passing before
contact which is what I was complaining about. Taking contact
and throwing the offload stifles so many attacks because players
outside you over-run it. People love an offload because it looks
good, but it's not always the good option

Marcus Smith orchestrates Harlequins’ crushing win
  HTML https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/apr/17/marcus-smith-orchestrates-harlequins-crushing-win-against-worcester
Marcus Smith – on England’s radar for their summer tour – and
Danny Care combined well at half-back, Joe Marchant was buzzing
around at centre and Mike Brown was his usual feisty self. But
perhaps the most impressive performer of the day was the No 8,
Alex Dombrandt, who time and again bulldozed his way through
       Worcester’s powderpuff defence.
Four of the tries came in the opening 11 minutes, which said
everything about both sides’ ambitions to play and plenty about
their attitudes to defence. If the England attack coach, Simon
Amor, enjoyed what he saw from the stands you imagine his
defensive counterpart, John Mitchell, would have been tearing
his hair out – if he had any left.

Brown usually ends up breaking the first line of defence and
it's BECAUSE he takes contact and offloads that the space is
there to run into. He doesn't often find himself with a 2 on 1
in behind the defence but I can't remember him butchering one.
