Another good interview. I find him really impressive when he
speaks. No nonsense, no silly jargon, no excuses. Couldn't be
more different from his predecessor or our recently departed
head coach.

Good interview, no ducking and provided a sense of both sides to
emotive issues. Fair play and as he said MB is a rugby legend
not just a Quins legend.

I think Laurie is a decent and most importantly genuine guy.
David Ellis lived on cloud cuckoo land for most of his time
here. I had the privilege of having a meeting with him a few
years ago to share my constructed views which I make clear and
it reminded me a bit of the devotion of the Jonestown cult in
that he couldn't see anything wrong with JK and DC the captain
at the time.
The players have made it easier with their performances that
there isnt any sudden pressure to bring someone in which is
good, and hopefully see's us make the right choice for a DoR. I
think coaching we are doing OK in as the current performances on
the whole show we are competent.

It might make sense to make any comments on Mike Brown leaving
on the Mike Brown is leaving

/>thread and any comments on the rest of what he said here.
Of course it's just a suggestion.

There is a good speech on PR can’t remember all of it but goes
along something like this
Even when you have done wrong by people, if you look sincere and
only react after other have said their piece, you can say what
you like and many will believe you, and those that don’t agree
you make sure are not giving the same platform to convey their
message , but never speak before they have had their say.

Agree completely I also really like how Millard comes across
clear no jargon and trustworthy.

I don't think this in any way explains or excuses the treatment
of Mike. I make no excuse for being a massive Mike Brown fan. An
absolute living Quins legend, fought his way back to top fitness
& top form after a year long break through injury at 36 years
old. If your'e good enough then youre still young enough, & Mike
cuts the mustard as well as ever. It would be nice if the club
could bring themselves to admit they screwed this up badly &
issued an apology in hindsight. But no. Disgraceful way to treat
a legend. Sorry but still very annoyed about this.
I do agree Dalyrmple is a massive upgrade on Ellis, who was a
completely useless tool, who made some awful decisions & was a
bloody disaster to be honest. Just hope the club can learn &
move forward. Just be honest Dalrymple, MB means more to Quins
than you will ever do.
