Why o why did we try to run the clock down from 2 and half
minutes to go through the kind of rucks that almost inevitably
end in conceding a penalty? Why not kick deep? 70 excellent
minutes, 10 poor ones, hope it doesn't derail the season.

Absolutely gutted by that. An absolute shocker of a call gives
them a penalty try - not because of the try itself, but because
Thomas had blatantly knocked the ball on when he dived on it,
and yet somehow won a penalty. They get a penalty try and a
yellow, and then we can't hold out.
Just infuriating.

Great effort from the lads. Could've gone either way.
Not sure there was a clear grounding at the end but those the
breaks.

We stopped managing the game and tried to run the clock down and
paid the price. I thought the penalty against Dombrandt was
pretty harsh, though.
Still, it was a good performance overall, let down by a couple
of loose decisions.
