I don’t think there is a 9 playing better than him in the Prem
certainly, and potentially could argue in British isles. I’d
also put Brown in that category too for the Prem but there is a
lot of quality in those back three positions

He is playing with skill, control and instinct. It is surely
only his age (and his questioning of EJ's style) that is keeping
him out of England recognition. Unfairly so.
And while we might be accused of being myopic Quins fans who
love DC, the amount of praise he is justifiably receiving from
all quarters is telling.

I think he's got every chance of making the squad if he keeps us
this form. Unlike other positions, there are dead certs for the
9 jersey, do it'll be interesting to see who Gatland opts for.

I agree with all of the above but sadly, not going to happen.
Hogg, L Williams & Halfpenny will be the 15s (with cover from
Watson) and Conor Murray (or continental plate Youngs), Ali
Price and a welsh bloke will be the 9s. Garland is not
interested in winning by having the form players in their
positions just by proving that his methods work better with
players that he knows/trusts.
Goes against the entire ethos of the Lions.
