According to Tigers board ‘allegedly poor attitude off the
field’ but they don’t know whole story.

Personally I think Herron has done pretty well in most games
especially given the lack of game time, need to remember there
are not too many Marcus Smith`s around so to compare the two is
not realistic.

I thought the rumour is that Herron has been in talks with a
couple of French clubs, and if off next season??

Sometimes it's a question of right player in the wrong
environment. Marland Yarde had problems here but seems to have
done OK at Sale.

Hardwick - I’ve seen mention of a social media incident (but not
sure what) and poor attitude linked to him thinking he should be
a first choice pick. Both just hearsay and if they are wrong I’d
be happy to give him a shot as a like-for-like replacement for
Lang. But if he’s going to be chippy about being behind Smith
and Ester for the starting XV no thanks.

In response to the OP, Steele re-signing is really good news.
He’s been a great signing and it just feels like a good fit on
both sides. We’ve shown faith in him and given him the
opportunity to show what he can do which ultimately led to his
Scotland call-up. He seems to enjoy being at Quins and nice to
see a player showing genuine gratitude.
Re. Hardwick, I’m on the fence. I’ve seen him play quite a few
times and I think he could actually be a great understudy for
Smith. However, if he wants to be first choice at 10 or 12 and
is going to kick-off if that doesn’t happen, we’re clearly not
the right destination.

That's a pretty damning statement, sounds like gross misconduct,
a nasty business

Yes, he did particularly well against us, he played a part in
all our tries

The way things are going today, it looks like re-signing Steele
gives us another back row option as well! 😀
It's one thing seeing backs lending weight to the flank when
needed, but quite another to see a scrum half fully pitching in
in open play!
