I used to coach the reporter Will Kellecher .. a long standing
season ticket holder of old too

I used to go to school with the (Mail's Chief Sports)
photography Andy Hooper!
Two things I learnt from that interview:-
1) we'll only keep hold of Lynagh if he chooses to represent
England (if he gets that good) - or possibly Italy: if he
decides to represents Australia he'll surely leave; he could
still play for Italy, as Jake Polledri hasn't been told to play
in Italy
2) Mike Brown's sports idol is Roy Keane - which explains a fair
bit!
Whomever he decides to play for, should he excel, I wish him the
best - he, along with Green, is pretty nippy and gives Quins
some good depth at wing...

Do you think so? I've been very impressed with him overall and
really glad we've got him but from what I saw he didn't look to
be very quick. Certainly no slouch but when he was given some
space on the wing a few times he's been caught relatively
comfortably by the opposition. That's what made me think of him
as more of a long term FB option. Fast enough, but not a real
gas man.
Again, not a criticism as I think he's been outstanding. Just an
observation. Green, however, does look a fair bit nippier.

Well, he's nippier than me!
I've only seen him on telly a few times and whilst I'm sure he
might not be the fastest, he was burning a few people off for
his tries recently, but I take your point; I'll have a word with
Lynagh Senior and tell him to give him more Weetabix (other
breakfasts are available, like spam, eggs, chips and spam;
spam...) ;)

BQ it's the other breakfasts that slow you down 😂 'Full
English' is by name and nature (the iCal caff does a gut buster)
leaves you walking afterwards!

Tom Williams wasn't the fastest but was still a fantastic
player. If Louis has Tom's rugby brain he'll be fine.

I dont think it is a criticism, Lynagh has been a bit of a
revelation but I would agree he is not the quickest. Quick
enough but not in the League of some of our previous wingers. I
like a balance. Second row - 1 beast and 1 a bit more athletic,
Back Row - 1 Beast, 1 athletic sniper and 1 a bit of both.
Centre - 1 Beast and one nippy. Wing - 1 speedy and 1 more of a
thinking mans winger!!

I agree about his pace.
Don't think he's as fast as some seem to think. Though far from
slow.
