Yes it was forward and we objected in the West stand next to
where it happened - but the booing came from the north stand
when Marland touched the ball - very sad

Good natured ribbing is par for the course. He deserves it after
piddling away his opportunity at Quins. I won't swear at him but
I will ask him for a wave and I might even ask him how his
England career is going.
I liked him when he played for us. However he left under a cloud
and good natured stick is fine by me.

Sounds like people seemed to hear it from every stand. Couldn’t
put it all on a single stand from this evidence. Can never
thathom what people get out of booing players.. doesn’t fit in
with the values of our game

The woman next to me remarked on the fact I applauded the Sale
scores. (I don't applaud load and long or anything, a few polite
hand claps). I simply said "this is rugby, not football". If I
see a good piece of rugby skill, I applaud it - which ever side
executes it. Ignoring the forward pass, MY's try was well taken
and deserved recognition.
(even if it was from a forward pass)

From the middle of the South stand didn't hear anything other
than pantomime booing and hissing for Yarde.
Did unfortunately clearly hear someone shout "Marcus Smith is a
See you next Tuesday" during his last kick. So maybe plenty of
idiots around.

Don’t want to put it fully down to this.. but I feel it’s down
to a newer fan base. I as a Quins supporter for a good many
years love to see our fan base growing, but at the same time as
it grows I feel rugby’s values aren’t understood and
appreciated, and thus a small minority treat it like a football
game. Not that booing, hissing, cussing should be allowed at any
sporting event, but feel it’s coming from a football culture.

Was there also some handbags between Yarde and our very own
Marler?

Mrfromage is right, some guys sat one row back and few seats up
from us did this, in second half, Along with some footbal style
chants all game. They stopped all when i pointed out that we
respect opposition players, that we don't do that sort of thing
at rugby and i for one don't want it to become football.
I would have spoken to a steward if i could have seen one at the
stairs by our seats, but didn't see one there. The whole of a
group was angry with them.
Currently considering reporrting to club as noted the seat
numbers because what they did had made me so angry.

Didn`t seem like a forward pass to me from where I sat in the
East Stand and I was happy to applaud it. Booing from some
around me, don`t understand the attitude myself.

Marlande always gave his all for quins so any abuse is
completely unacceptable
