After watching again it was just as painful and I stand by
idiotic, if anything it's harder to kick it up the pitch than
sideways.

I don't know if there is a time stamp on that video, but I have
a dark memory of the occasion and the reason that No 23 didn't
boot it out may have been as time wasn't quite up and he had to
feed Botica before Saints jumped him (and the ball) on our line
and to wait for time to hit 80 - it was a mad rush...

Yes - indeed - I flagged down the cab almost immediately we got
out of the big pen they had put us in before trying to get the
tram, told him where we wanted to go in fluent Frenglish and you
lot all piled in leaving me by the kerbside! 90 minutes later I
found you again - having a great time!
I had to walk for an hour to get back to that bar as there were
no cabs at the train station. In fact there was a huge fight
when someone - an old lady - was taken to the front of the queue
and an Irish lad tried to nick the cab from her - he was duly
set upon by the local lads and Les Flics piled in for good
measure.
Fantastic weekend though and a great city!
