Seem to be rather a lot of gaurdianista republicans around here
these days 😡
Harry is a silly boy, he might come to his senses one day but I
don't think he was first in the queue when the brains are being
handed out (bit like his sainted mother) so he probably won't.
In the circumstances it is best if he gives up his patronage of
the rfu. As to a replacement, how about the lovely Duchess of
Cambridge?

You don't need to be left wing to want a say in who our head of
state should be. How is it right in the 21st century we as
people are handed over as property to be inherited.
The crown is a symbology of oppression. Our head of state does
not do interviews. Why? She is a political figure in a political
position and should be held accountable. There are many
questions being raised that need to be answered?
Why is she protecting Andrew Windsor, the pedophile's friend?
Why does she invest millions of pounds offshore, therefore
avoiding tax?
Why did she lobby to hide her private wealth?
Why did her and her family veto 1,000s of laws she she didn't
have to obey them?
Why is Charles Windsor as a public land owner, denying the right
to buy for thousands of his tenants?
Why is Elizabeth Windsor able to pay less in business rates at
Balmoral than local schools?
That is just the tip of the iceberg, yet we will never know the
answers from her bevause she doesn't do interviews. As a public
political figure as head of state she should be held to account,
yet isn't.
As for Harry, if he wants to leave the firm and be a rich
socialite, let him be. The amount of abuse his wife got when
compared to Katherine Windsor is repugnant.

Whoever you vote in, can be voted out?
I'm not going to fall into the the left wing, right ring
argument with you because they is a fight you are looking for
and I'm not going to provide it.
We claim to be a democracy yet accept Chinese and Russian style
corruption at rhe highest level.
I think for Patron of RFU we need someone who is truly
representative and represents all that is good about rugby.

They usually go for a royal as it’s more prestigious and gives
them something to do to earn their keep. People moan about the
royal family but I wouldn’t fancy it. Little privacy, not being
able to nip out without security, having to constantly open
things and meet people. Following protocol and still working in
your nineties. I could go on. They are good for UK business
though.
There is probably some kind of process to adhere to for
choosing a Patron so will be interesting if maybe irrelevant to
find out who it will be.

Interesting that you feel that someone who disagrees with you is
looking for a fight.

Any examples? As there are 1000s say 50 would be a good start
The last monarch to refuse to sign a bill was Queen Anne. There
is no right of veto.
Look up the income of the Crown Estate and compare it with the
civil list.
We have enough elections as it is without yet another layer of
people grubbing around

Vetted not vetoed! Auto correct.
But the Elizabeth Windsor and/or Charles Windsor have vetted
over 1,000 before getting parliamentary approval. They include:
European Union (Future Relationship) Bill
Fire Safety Bill
Agriculture Bill
Pension Schemes Bill
Fisheries Bill
That's to name a few.
She is meant to be impartial and not get involved, but she is
very much involved
