For the game tomorrow, I hope that these guys do well for Sale.
All of them are first XV standard but I worry about so many new
combinations (or not having played together for some time)
against a Quins team who are bang in form.
Cliff and RdP have played very well together but that was a year
ago. There is a suggestion that we average a similar score with
Rob at 10 to when we have AJ but score one try more.
Likewise the James brothers have had some good performances in
the midfield but both have been moved around a lot recently.
Alex is clearly looking at who he has in his team. Just wish he
had put out a more established XV for the game I get most
nervous about 🤣

The Bath game last week was a surprise defeat. I suppose
Sanderson was wanting to have a look at some players against a
'weaker/out of form' team. It's good that he can do so from a
strong league position.

Oh agreed. If we finish top 4, hardly anyone will remember the
result in round 9. Likewise if he leads us to a Prem win next
season because he’s spent this season working out who has the
right stuff, all will be forgiven.
I also like that his press conferences have all been holding us
hands up that 10 was too many changes. Seems strange then to
make 8 changes this week.

Here’s to a good game this afternoon. I’d be happy with a 41-42
finish as Lood slots an ugly 84th minute drop goal! 🤣

Sorry if this has already been covered... do we know what the
situation is with Paul Lasike? Is he injured or not selected? I
noticed he wasn't on the injured list either.

But has been injured so no surprise he may have to work to get
into a winning squad

I think Earle is due back
My guess would be a change in the front row ( today's subs
starting), Chisholm in the back row. No need to swap the backs

Yes, I think you might be right. Can't recall what the protocols
are but at this rate we might be a bit short come the semis!!!!
Els, Elia and Louw will be an effective front row. Chisholm may
need to come in for Evans anyway.
Can anyone recall the playing protocols? Is it total games or a
run of games? Or did it only count for last season (which I
think might be the case).
Whatever the case, I think we should keep trying to put out our
best XV. That game against Wuss away last autumn still makes me
twitch!!!
