I dont think he ( campagnero) is quite pulling a sickie and
doing this on the sly!!!
The club will know full well what the scoop is.

Campagnaro commentates on England v Italy game shocker!
[emoji15] [emoji33] [emoji35]
Fans call for his (Italian) blood after commentating on
Twickenham rugby show, which is, er, just down the road from
where he plays (rugby) and lives...

I wonder if we'll be seeing any more needle between Yarde and
his former team mates? It turned a bit nasty last time...

I'm expecting a tough game, although I've not seen Sale since
Sanderson took over. Has he adapted their style/approach much?

wrestle. Luke James is a quality player but rarely plays 12, so
hopefully Esterhuizen will test him down his channel a few times
early on. Also mentioned above but no AJ MacGinty for Sale is
huge for us, RDP dropped a disasterclass last time we played
Sale

I think on another chain, possibly from the Tigers game, where
he was commentating with Lawday it was said a couple of weeks
away from availability, so possibly next weekend. He had minor
surgery on the ankle injury he picked up in the Racing game
apparently.

This game will give a good indication of where we are, an
earlier post said we could be 3rd after the weekend but looking
at the early games of the season things could have been a lot
better with the rub of the green. The Exeter game we were
hanging in with a chance till the last 10 before imploding
trying to chase the game but no points; against Bristol but for
a dubious ref call we could have gone in 16-0 at half-time and
almost certainly points; Worcester we got two points for a Covid
cancellation but could reasonably have been more if we'd played
given their current form. Wins against Bristol and Worcester
would have given another six points which would put Quins top
to-day. Fine margins and not certain but definitely a plausible
situation. Just thinking...

......and, IF that had happened, there'd still be a Head Coach
and there'd have been no post Head Coach bounce, maybe.......

The 'what if' game is always a bit hard to play. Suffice it to
say that we were left legitimately frustrated by the losses to
Exeter and Briz, the draw with Irish and the Covid-dictated loss
to Wuss. That said, Exeter, Briz and Irish all gave us problems
in the second half that we couldn't deal with. It was what it
was. We were seen as a bit of a joke after those games (and the
European games) which hurt. We were definitely better than we
had shown. It was frustrating that we didn't show it!
We have learnt a lot since then and look a lot tougher and a lot
more able find opportunities to score.
Looking at the team selected, we have our first choice in a
number of positions, and players like White, Morris and Lynagh
who are really in form and are grabbing their chances with both
hands. Really wonderful to have a squad that is up for it and
playing so well.
Sale are a niggly team, which I seem to type a lot! Hopefully we
can rise above any sly (or obvious) digs from the du Preezs and
Yarde and anyone else. We are relishing playing a quick tempo
and confident passing game. I hope and think we can outplay Sale
tomorrow.

And if Sale had held the lead they had over Newcastle when the
clock hit 80, we’d have 3 more points. If Faf had released the
ball half a second earlier last week (and therefore not forward)
du Preez’s try stands and we beat Bath. Another 3 points.
Sale are first and Quins are second. Or third depending on
points difference with Bristol.
