JOE MARCHANT IS SET TO PLAY HIS 100TH GAME FOR HARLEQUINS THIS
WEEKEND AS SALE SHARKS TRAVEL TO THE STOOP
As the Club host Sale in Round 10 of the Gallagher Premiership
season, Harlequins and England centre Marchant will make his
100th appearance in the famous Quarters.
Off the back of a three-game winning streak, Harlequins
currently sit fourth in the table, with this weekend�s
opposition sat just one position ahead in third, equal on league
points.
Harlequins� coaching staff has named an unchanged starting side
this week, with the Club looking to secure back-to-back home
wins. There are two changes to the bench for this weekend�s
encounter, as back row James Chisholm (20) and centre Luke
Northmore (23) return from injury.
Commenting, Attack and Backs Coach Nick Evans said: �We�ve had
some great performances in recent weeks and as a coaching team
we�re pleased to see the confidence the boys are playing with at
the moment.
�We have given the playing group a level of ownership and they
have reacted well.
�It�s fantastic to see Joe make his 100th Club appearance. He�s
a seriously skilled centre with a fantastic attitude. He�s
formed a great midfield partnership over the last couple of
months alongside Andre and Marcus. We�re excited to see how that
partnership continues to develop.
�Sale will present a real physical challenge for us on Saturday,
in addition to a well-rounded game. It�s a challenge that we are
looking forward to meeting.�

Would have thought Kerrod and Louw would have swapped back round
for this game but still a strong team. Great to see Chisholm and
Northmore on the bench. Also, brilliant to see that Campagnaro
is off the injury list! When everyone is fit we have excellent
depth at centre.

Great to see the consistency. Good to see Chisholm back too.
Big test for the team this week. Last few games we've been well
ahead and haven't had to close out a tight game. If this is
closer towards the end it'll be interesting to see how we cope

Happy with that. Like others, I expected Louw to start but it's
great we have two quality options at tighthead.
Despite Chisholm being back, given recent performances Archie
White deserves to keep his starting spot. Never thought I'd of
said that!
Great to see Northmore available again.

Couple of strong forwards on the bench for Sale but strange that
there is no MacGinty or faf de Klerk in the squad. Don�t rate
Du Preez at fly half, his goal kicking is a weakness and Sale�s
attacking structure only got moving last week against Bath,
once MacGinty came on.

Ashman is meant to be real prospect for Sale - plus i like the
look of Quirke at 9 (bench) a possible DC replacement if he
keeps developing....

I assume Sale have a few injuries in the backs given that they
have a 6-2 split on the bench and the 2 are both academy/fresh
out of the academy.
Good on White for keeping his place - I think he�s in for a good
test this weekend against what is pretty physical back row.
