But then again... I'd gladly do exactly what the coach says,
without question, for £25k a game!

So the only way we will see any change with England is if we
change the coach ... if the results in the 6 Nations are bad
enough then that might happen
Most coaches have a “shelf life” and this is the longest Eddie
Jones has been in any coaching job ... he strikes me as the sort
of guy who always knows what his next job is going to be ...
we’ve all worked with them
If England get rid of Eddie then in the short term the RFU has
an experienced coach on their books who has 6 Nations experience
... Conor O’Shea anyone ?

I bet you wouldn’t call Marler a yes man to his face...

I didn’t think that through did I. I’m not sure that front row
has ever had flare and I think that Joe does the scrummaging and
tackling to world standard. It’s the backs that are usually the
flare players but as somebody already said , keep quiet and do
as your told and collect wages. Do what Mike and Danny did and
never play again
( Do you think I’ll get away with it now)

I think its a blessing in more ways than us EJ does not seem to
have Marcus on his radar.
Apart from missing our games which he has been a key part of in
the ones we've recently won, I honestly feel if Marcus went to
the England camp for a prolonged period of time he'd return a
different and more "blunt" (if that makes sense) player. It
wouldn't be the first time some of best players from teams that
are not Sarries have gone to the England camp for a few
weeks/months and then have still received naff all playing time
anyway, and then returned to their club a shadow of the player
that left.

I agree MQ - look what's happened to Umaga's form at Wasps since
he stepped into Marcus' shoes at England training camps. He
seems to have lost all confidence.

Being an on/off England squad player has certainly done Marchant
no favours.
No doubt we're making hay whilst the sun shines during this
international period. In a parallel universe we could quite
conceivably be without Smith, Dombrandt, Marler and possibly
Marchant. The longer EJ ignores Smith and Dombrandt the better
as far as I'm concerned. Lets not have him coaching the flair
out of them as well.
