Morris had an excellent game at FB and Mike was effective both
offensively and defensively on the wing. I felt the back 3 had
       great balance

Just watched the highlights. The single biggest difference for
me was the fitness. We pounded Sale in the second half and
didn't slow down right up until the final whistle.

If you mean Brown at 11 and Morris at 15 I don't agree, thought
       it looked really promising.

Having seen the full match video, it's really encouraging. I
thought Sale's heads dropped in the second half, much like ours
did last season. My view is that our fitness levels were higher,
our team spirit looked to be back, the players seemed to trust
each other in defence. We looked sharper in attack, but still
with room to improve. The new signings all made a great impact,
and our pack look a much more cohesive unit. Best of all for me,
the team seemed to have their mojo back.
Not getting over-excited after just one game, but there are
certainly promising signs. Let's hope the momentum continues.

Having watched the match although Brown has 11 on his back he
played most of the game at FB

Just seemed a better atmosphere amongst the players, it was like
they wanted to work for each other. Don't let your mate down.
I liked the attack. So much recently we just seemed to go side
to side without a real threat. We actually looked like we could
       penetrate Sale (oh er!!)

I don’t agree with that at all. Morris was clearly the FB for
the vast majority of the game. Brown dropped deep when they
kicked (to split the field) but that is the norm for a winger

I've recently moved to Sydney, and one of the good things here
is that they have every Gallagher Premiership match live on Fox
Sports. The bad thing is you have to get up at ridiculous
       o'clock at night.
Anywho, Morris did indeed play at FB and Brown on the wing as
the numbers on their back suggest. Brown was supposedly played
there to nullify Solomona - job done.
A few people have mentioned the pack, in particular tight five,
and how good we were - agreed. Interesting also to note the
Premiership Shield (formerly A League) game against Gloucester
United. Despite starting two guest Props (even though Kieran
Sassone was on the bench - odd), our scrum was astonishingly
       dominant.
Early doors, but hopefully something good happening on the
       training ground.

Thought the Lineout loooked slick & very effective too. Not said
that for quite a while. We kicked into the corner & actually won
       our Lineout..!!

Agree that on Monday in the A game our scrum was very dominant
but I think that may have been largely because of the guest
       players, rather than inspite of.
