Assuming that Ryan has a realistic shot then I would guess
he's the biggest punt out of all the people with a realistic
shot. As far as I know the bloke hasn't coached XVs since
Newbury around 15 years ago.

I think AG misses the big point about setting culture within any
organisation, which is that you have to balance the change with
bringing the incumbents along with you. To take examples from
above both SAF and AW were experienced managers but they also
did well to bring the vast majority of the players along with
them. This is where it seems to me that PG failed.
It strikes me that this is especially true in a sporting culture
where the value of the players tends to outweigh the value of
the coach.

Just seen this on a Sarris board.
