Wouldn’t be surprised if Pivac has a poor 6 nations he could be
out the job..wouldn’t be then surprised if come the summer we
haven’t lined up a replacement

Did a great job with Scarlets who played good attacking rugby
under Pivac. Wouldn't be adverse.

Ben Ryan with his holistic approach would I think be the best
fit for us. Gustard was preferred to him after the interviews
last time...

I'd love to see it, purely to see exciting attacking rugby.
Would surely be a bit of a gamble given he has no real top level
experience coaching XV's. Perhaps with an older/wiser
forwards coach as his number 2....

I think we need an experienced DoR, not another punt (although
they are all punts of course)

I don't think Gustard was a punt, more the wrong choice. I
was always wary of an ex Salarycens coach, we're not them,
don't want to play like them and certainly don't want to
cheat either. Gustard was well aware of what was going on based
on the comments he made at one of the Quinssa evenings. I'm
not saying that he'd want us to cheat the salary cap but he
was part of that culture and would no doubt have been influenced
by it.
Ben Ryan wouldn't IMHO be a 'punt', he's a
proven motivator and would bring some great new ideas in. With a
good team of coaches working with him, he'd be an excellent
fit for us. Just wish I was on the committee!

Exactly - we'd play the way we should be doing, not the
turgid dross we've been seeing the last few seasons

I'd say Ryan (like PG) would be a punt in that he has never
had a top job of DoR (if that is what we go for). He is unknown
in that role. I'd be happy maybe having him involved but I
would like an experienced DoR to be the head honcho

As Billy Millard is still part of the team, I'd guess
we're sticking with the split responsibilities unless the
review in progress advises differently so we're more likely
to have a new HoR than a DoR

The big question is will Millard still be here though (or the
other coaches). I'm guessing he was on the same length deal
as PG so he could well be ooc in the summer. As mentioned on
another thread, I dont think anything is set in stone
