       I noticed that he failed to mention Brown as well. Could just
       have been Danny forgetting, but seems to confirm the rumours

       Think it was a great podcast, and in particular Ashton came
       across very well. Not in favour, not going to play why sit
       around doing nothing. I thought that was very open.
       I think this move was less about the older players, but younger
       ones and staff. As Ugo said do you think Nev wants to play this
       game plan. Lots of good coaches have left Quins under Gussy.
       Starting with GR, NE, Mark Mapletoff, Colding, Warren A, Sean
       Long, Tony D, Tom W, Colin Osb........that is quite a lot. Not
       all related I am sure to PG but........
       I think board and coaches much more likely to listen to
       Marchant, Dommers, Chis, Smith. If the future say we are leaving
       unless.......why listen to a few older guys who have a year or
       two to go.
       Also maybe the board wanted to keep PG, but he didn’t want to
       stay. Why keep him in club? We did that last time with JK and it
       was a nightmare. Thus reason leaving mid seaso?
       Just a thought.....

       I wouldn't read too much into it. There are very likely legal
       limits to what Danny *can* say. Gussy and the club will almost
       certainly have a compromise agreement in place in which they
       each promise not to say bad things about each other. And that
       will extend to representatives of the club like Danny.
       Especially this close to the event, he will have been heavily
       prepped by the media team not to say anything that might give
       Gussy cause for a grievance.

       I thought it interesting that he said he had re-signed six weeks
       ago so he says his signature wasn't linked to Gussy going
       although the announcement that he had extended his contract
       obviously was !
       I wonder who he negotiated with? And also when Chris Ashton says
       that "we discussed it and all agreed that a move was for the
       best " or along those lines who was he discussing it with ?

       Based on what the club have said, he'd have discussed whether he
       was going to get chances to play with Gustard and his contract
       situation with Millard.
