I was there. We gave them a good hiding, starting with a great
opening try by DC off Dombrandt.

Life went down the rodney-hole a few weeks after.
Great afternoon that was. Depleted Saracens or not, blinding
January Saturday :)

A brilliant result and a wonderful afternoon. My wife came along
with me and my son (who are regulars) and they announced his 7th
birthday at half-time! It is always such a nice touch.
He was then fan of the match at the Exeter game and we were
presented with a match ball on the pitch after that bonkers
penalty try ending.
Can't believe that was a year ago. Feels like a lifetime. Or
even, someone else's life!

Feels like an age ago! We sit at that end of the east stand and
to see three quick tries at the start right in front of us was
great. Then a couple of weeks later it was the dreadful loss to
Irish. Which wasn’t so great. Mind you I’d take any trip to the
Stoop at the moment!

The Sarries game showed what the Quins players are capable of as
a team.
Who knows whether that was 'because of' or 'despite' Gustard
being in charge.
Maybe the origins of the rumoured lock-room discontent come from
that inconsistent period?

Thanks for putting the link up. Watching it made making
powerpoint presentations go much faster than usual. They
normally feel like they have taken a week when only a few hours
have passed.

Different but still only a year ago.....
The first official Covid 19 case in the UK was identified - A 23
year old Chinese student from Wuhan who was ill in a Hotel in
York.
