Good news. They both love and care for the club and give their
all on and off the pitch.
The culture of the club is built around these players who love
being a part of it and commit to it.

Good point. Thank you Comet.
I'd not looked at it from this angle (I was thinking purely of
on pitch ability) but Ross may be a cultural leader that the
youngsters can aspire to, and hopefully improve discipline and
reduce silly penalties.

May not get one without the other?
James is a key player for us. I think most consistent back rower
we have. Never lets the team down and tough as nails! Ross is
much the same. May not have the gas he had pre injuries but will
never give up!

Reducing silly penalties was hopefully first on the agenda at
this morning's team meeting!

Ross is a steady player and rarely makes mistakes on the pitch,
doesnt set the world alight but you need players like that in
the squad when you have injuries, they dont demand the same cash
is the world class/top players but plug a gap when you need it.
You need a balance of youth and experience as back up, he gives
us that option. I actually think he's a decent player and before
his injury was one of the fastest we have ever had. Really happy
to see him stay and a no brainer for James, great news.
