Whoever comes in HAS to have held the position in another club
before. Our last two head coach failures have been punts on
candidates who’ve not had that level of responsibility before,
and were catastrophic failures.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! My view is that Gloucester, Quins,
Bath, Northampton, Sale, Worcs, Leicester, and usually Irish
play either bad or boring rugby a lot of the time, especially
compared to a decade ago, and the laws at the moment promote
conservative rugby. I realise this is subjective, but it's
reflected in what I see from other fans and in some
conversations over the years.
Again, very subjective. I do think us Quins fans would be less
angry if it was more entertaining.

I thank Gustard for his honest effort but like he must surely
feel, it’s a huge disappointment that he’s ultimately failed to
gain control of team and club culture, to be the figure head and
leader that players, the whole group and even us as supporters
can get behind. It is undoubtedly an exposed position and a
clear light now shines on this personal failure.
His departure is untimely, exactly as COS’s, and again
management appears to be prepared to throw it all up in the air
with no strategy. I’d love to believe there is a plan but I very
much doubt it. This is a club with weak management in a fall
with a tangled parachute. Despondent!

They haven’t been tasked with running a successful business,

PG was recruited under last CEOs watch and he had been recruited
with a highly relevant background in social housing! At least
current bloke has some experience in sport.
Presumably somebody on the board finally recognised it was all
about to go implode with the long list of players in the
departure lounge.
I still wonder if Robshaw would have stayed another year had
things been better.

I think that is the best idea on this thread! But it would cost
a small fortune to leverage him away from France - and why take
over a failing club, when you're helping to run a hot tip for
the next 6N champions in a World Cup cycle?

I’m not sure the board have decided to replace Gussie but will
wait to see if Millard can cope with both roles.We are the
exception in dividing the DOR job into 2,If Millard can cope it
saves a significant salary.Anf if there’s no relegation survival
in the Premiership is guaranteed.
I wonder if Millards salary has been increased given the huge
increase in responsibilities

According to Times this am Gussie’s contract was not going to
be renewed so he is looking for a job. I don’t think Billie was
ever after a coaching role? He was appointed after JK’s review
to split the job?

I am not convinced Edwards would be a great DOR, head coach
maybe defence coach speaks for itself. I just think (and it’s
only from what I’ve read) he’d be too much he is an intense
individual and you’d need someone else who could release the
pressure and that’s difficult to do if he’s got the top job.
Happy to be wrong and will support whoever gets it.
