Very good guy for Sale to have on board and I certainly would of
had him over Gustard as a straight choice. Apparently there
isn't anyone out there though..!

Sale have numerous advantages that will have helped to attract
Sanderson - chiefly a rich owner who is prepared to spend money
and the lure of going ‘home’. We would have offered neither.
Also sounds like you’re basing your comparison on what we know
about Gustard now. At the point we hired him, I think he’d have
compared favourably. We’ll find out how much individual credit
Sanderson deserves for Saracens’ success once he gets up and
running with Sale. Until then, it’s not a comparison we can
make.

I wasn't happy with Gustard when he joined due to his
involvement with the cheating at Saracens and frankly I wouldn't
have wanted Sanderson either.
Just my opinion of course.

It'll be interesting to see how he copes with limited money,
injuries meaning he can't just sub someone with another player
with 50 caps, lack of success every week to keep the dressing
room onside. It's like saying someone is a good poker player
when he's playing with 8 aces, but how good is he when there's
only 4 in the pack? It will be interesting to see.

BT Sport at the weekend tweeted "now seems like a good time to
remind everyone of this Sanderson quip" - then showed the video
where Sanderson said "haters gonna hate, players gonna play".
Just shows the arrogance and lack of contrition in the Sarries
camp. Would not want him here

This ... although recent history suggests Orange has money and
is happy to spend it, so I think he’ll have an advantage there.
Sanderson has done well in the Saracens environment but as we’ve
already seen ourselves, that’s by no means a guarantee of future
success.
Further to that, going from a specialist role to being the main
man is a totally different role.
Maybe he’ll do well, maybe he won’t. It definitely isn’t the
foregone conclusion some seem to be suggesting.
Generally, I’d be happy to see more English coaches doing well
and putting my dislike of Saracens to one side, Sanderson is not
an exception to that.
