(Probably) no sell out this weekend...

Will this be of disappointment to the suits or somewhat expected
given performances last season? I'd always assume people to be
more interested in going to first game of the season with all
the "rugby's back" hype than they would be for, say, mid-season
fixtures. Adds a little more pressure on the players to leave a
performance out there and get the punters coming back in their
droves - assuming we don't see a mad rush for tickets in the
next 24 hours...
After half an hour trying to attach a screenshot I grabbed of
the current tickets left on the Quins ticket hub, I gave up -
but go see for yourselves. To summarise for those who cba: good
availability in the South stand (I guess you'd expect this to be
where the last tickets left are) and availability still remains
in both West and East - although more limited.
Admin/DOK: please help. Followed the instructions on attaching
an image but it just came up with a "fake path" error.

Pretty sure our sellouts tend to come later in the season.

The first game of the season is often comparatively poorly
attended with the summer holidays still going on for some
amongst other things. The LDH normally occupies the firstweek in
September too so that our first home game is earlier than normal
probably doesn't help either.

Add in that it's the weekend following a Bank Holiday, and
there'll be some folks who will have used this week for family
holidays etc (to reduce the number of days vacation used from
work) so they may not be getting back until this w/e anyway &
are unable to come.

The local rugby clubs don't tend to send their teams of kids
early on the season so South is usually quieter at this stage.

Yes, that as well. No school teams either for obvious reasons!

I looked at exactly the same thing and thought that we'd sold
tonnes of seats since so many blocks are nearing a sell-out.
Without schools being back the south stand is always going to be
empty.
Otherwise it's pretty rammed for a Saturday in bank holiday
august week before everyone comes back and takes life seriously.

I've said it before and i will say it again, i don't think the
prices for the south stand are right.
For example blocks BA and BF on the wings £30 but blocks BB and
BE merely yards away are £47.50. How can there be £17.50
difference for pretty much the same view. I don't know how many
season ticket holders there are in the £30 seats but they are
sold out bar a few.
