       Kyle Sinkler

Kyle has been cited for using foul language to Karl Dickson in
match last weekend. Maximum ban would be 6 weeks. Quin on Quin
       new foul.

I was surprised Karl was so lenient with him.
Dickson agreed to look at the tackle again and admonished him
for the language. Sinkler acted like a petulant child
throughout and would have turned his back and walked away from
the ref but was stopped by one of his own players. The initial
ticking off was fine but Sinkler should have had 10 minutes to
cool down for his subsequent behaviour.

I was reading some comments from Bristol and Chief fans.
A common theme in the comments was that Karl Dickson was reffing
       poorly.
       - that he was clueless when it came to the scrum. Carding both
props was stupid when clearly it was the other team that was
       infringing.
       - Karl only let Kyle stay on the pitch as he was an old
       teammate.
       - He was too quick on the whistle
       - The penalties that were called were bizarre - it was clearly
the other team that was infringing.

Apart from the bit in red, I think you'll find those comments on
most message boards after EVERY game for EVERY team!

The scrum was problematic from the very first.
Karl was patient with resets but the outcome was free
kick/penalty. He spoke to both front rows but the situation
didn't resolve and every scrum collapsed. Finally he worked out
the culprits were 1 and 3 and made it clear they would be
replaced (One prop to engage higher and the other to step
       closer) if they didn't improve.
Yet another scrum collapsed and after his clear warning he was
right to card both props. Unsurprisingly every scrum thereafter
stayed up and went to completion. From my perspective I think
Karl's action was fully vindicated and the game improved as a
       consequence.
The Sinkler incident was over a no arm tackle. It took several
TMO replays to decide the validity of Sinklers complaint which
means it was not immediately clear and obvious. Dickson
initially said the tackle was good. Sinkler, lying on the floor,
responded by bellowing at the top of his voice for everyone to
hear "It F***ing Wasn't". Subsequently Karl looked at the
tackle again and was swayed by the TMO - it was marginal -
before speaking to Sinkler. The petulance developed from there
       and he should have walked.
       I can't agree with Bristol/Chiefs supporters. I though Dickson
reffed the game well and I didn't see any glaring errors or
favour toward one team or t'other.

       Fully agree with the above.
As a neutral, the reffing looked fine. I thought that binning
both props was a good move and refs should do it more often (and
       sooner in the game).
Certainly, it seemed to sort out the scrums from there on.
I thought that the tackle on Sink was actually okay. I thought
that the penalty should certainly have been reversed and
probably, Sink should have been marched back 10. I think that
he could be in some bother at the citing committee.

Marler was caught on TV during our game against LI swearing
       very, very loudly.
I'm all for passion, but I was sat watching with my 6 years old
eldest. It's time to really stamp out this type of language in
the game. Especially now, when you can hear everything that
happens, due to no fans being in the stands.
Respect is one of the key principles of the game and needs to
       this needs to be enforced.

Agreed on both posts. Would Sinckler have been as disrespectful
to a ref he didn’t know personally?
