Hmmm, few surprises there, most notably no walker or visser. I
wonder if Gustard knows Morris from his time at Sarries. Not
been that impressed with him really. Prefer Chisholm, Ibitoye,
Walker or Visser really.
Second row looks a bit weak. Lamb ahead of Glynn or South is an
odd one.
Be interesting to see who is picked for the A game so we know
who misses out due to inry and who is simply not selected.
Decent team and really looking forward to tomorrow, but I'd say
that there are a couple of areas of obvious weakness there

He was in his usual position vs Ealing, i.e. on the wing.

I'm sure I kept being told that James Chisholm was an injury
nightmare.
But there he is playing.
Odd that.

Yeah, I'd heard the same about J Chisholm being a sick note...

That's quite a good squad. A bit light at lock and wing, but a
good back row and I am excited to see Tapuai and Lasike in
action and (I hope) Marchant playing off them.
The key things will be breakdown, scramble defence and not
dropping the flippin' ball. With both Currys to contend with,
Wallace and Robshaw will need to be on their games.

Not bad. Hopefully Horwill will be back soon. I don’t expect to
see Saili all season.

Not to worry. Perhaps Ben Curry is on the wing for Sale.

Yeah, I'm already worrying about the breakdown - hope I'm wrong
to. I quite like unexpected bolters in team selections (in this
case Lamb, Morris) - hopefully means Guzzie has a plan...
Think Lamb's future could be in the second row. Wonder if Lasike
might come on as a Lomu-esque wing option at 60 mins or if
they'd shift Marchant out to the wing in that eventuality. Lang
obviously covering 10/12.
Anyone seen George Merrick's Instagram story today? Saili
working out - doesn't look like he's majorly strapped up or
anything and appears to be in good spirits and doing weights/leg
work. Hopefully back sooner than reported?
