Steele is killing us this half. Absolutely killing us.
Throws a huge forward pass on their 22 to kill a great attacking
position
Dithers on his own 5m and nearly causes a 5m attacking scrum as
a result, bailed out by an offside
Dithers at the base, gets scragged by Cowan, puts Brown into
trouble and we lose 10m as a result
Puts in a desparately stupid high tackle on halfway that gives
Irish the position to score from
He's far from the only one, but in such a crucial position it's
murdering our chances.
Otherwise it's instances of our usual problems - some soft
tackling, some soft penalties, some bad decision making. But
it's not terrible, which is why we're winning.

An entertaining game for the neutral no doubt, but frustrating
as a Quins fan. Our defence is keeping Irish in this....
Another rolling maul try conceded... why aren't we competing in
the air when its plain to see we couldn't stop an under 18's
team from 10 metres out?
Any thoughts on why Foley didn't go back to the high tackle on
Lang? I know Smith scored the try but that shouldn't mean a
clear head shot goes unpunished.

Also on their opening try it was gob-smacking how we defended
the maul really well, then immediately got into trouble because
all our forwards were too busy standing around instead of
getting into position. A few phases later, Glen Young throws
himself on the floor instead of doing anything useful, Lang goes
backwards in a tackle, and Rona is given an easy line to score.
Collective failure.

All of the supporting Irish players should have been pinged for
tackling off the ball as there hadn’t been a tackle.

But how many times do players have to be told? we can't keep
blaming the coaches. It's time the players took some
responsibilities.
