Well in theory it should be suspended until mid Feb or later,
but, I'm sure they will carry on football and rugby.

Says on BBC that amateur sport is suspended but elite sport can
continue, seems a curse the England cricket team in Sri Lanka,
leads to lockdowns :)

Presumably the ladies fixtures will be cancelled as it mentions
elite sport will continue 😇😇

Yep - the same thing is on the Guardian as well:

Also, I've had confirmation from Surrey Rugby for my son's U15
rugby team that all activity is cancelled - training and
matches. I can't see any 15-a-side contact matches for his side
this season. It remains to be seen what the long term effect
will be. For a side like the one I coach, which isn't blessed
with high numbers, I'm not optimistic that the side will be
viable come the start of next season.

I presume that the Championship is delayed? Surely their season
will be cancelled.

Thanks. At least the "Teams Up" message will give me something
to look forward to each week during lockdown.

Given half the squads are either amateur or semi-professional, I
think that's likely. Odds shortening even more on Saracens being
automatically promoted (with maybe Ealing or A.N.Other team) and
Ringfencing for next season. Saracens to play exhibition games
as and when they can (maybe a tour of Aus/NZ in April-June) so
that their Lions probables get some gametime.
