He had a good start but couldn't keep the momentum.
Did well on the dead lift. Over half a tonne.
I think he needs to bulk out a bit though. Most of the guys
(excepting the Ukrainian) were bigger.

This actually took place months ago and think there was a thread
about it then. Still, good result for him. It's odd to think
he's "small" compared to most of them

Agree with you never sleep. Other contestants paced out the
trials.
I don't normally watch 'Worlds Strongest Man' but a fella in
West Sussex on the morning of it being shown on CH5 said ".. a
Harlequins bloke's on telly tonight called Adam Bishop". I'm now
hooked on it!

But the Ukrainian did OK!
I think the guys who do well are generally either 68+ and win
things like the stones because they have the height and reach to
make it a bit easier (eg T Stoltmann, Brian Shaw, Thor, etc). Or
they are lighter and quicker so do well in events like the
Medley.
Bish is definitely in the latter group - he cant suddenly grow
8 taller - but there are now quicker athletes.

Bish was too lightweight a few years ago though. He was around
130kg. Since bulking out though, he has won Britain's Strongest
Man. So, there is a balance between weight and speed somewhere.
He probably still has 5 years at the top level, so he may still
be in with a shot
